The mystery of a lightning bug can easily be explained. The explanation doesn’t remove the mystery. As it is with your spiritual nature. Enjoy the mystery.

Spirit Shorts Episode 103: Is Your Spiritual Meaning A Grand Mystery
I love lightning bugs. That’s what we call them in the South. Others call them fireflies. Regardless what call them, they are magical, a wonderful mystery of youth.
Where did magic and mystery disappear? When exactly did we pack away our imagination and curiosity?
For me, I got so damn busy figuring out how to survive, be clever and make others happy I lost the sense of magic and mystery at a seemingly early age. Magical thinking was the sign of a nube or idiot.
Cynicism arrived early for me. I didn’t trust anyone, especially my family members, liars, all of them.
It wasn’t until I had begun to master the control of my mind did curiosity and mystery get awakened again. I began my search for the spiritual meaning of life that curiosity and a sense of mystery started creeping back into my personality.
I pretty much had already had life figured out by the ripe old age of 27. Then I met this wonderful Spiritual Mage in Encinitas. He claimed he could do magical things. But he didn’t show any of them off. He kept them a mystery. Made more mysterious by his assertion that he would show us how to do all these magical things for ourselves and once successful, we could decide for ourselves what we thought.
I am still refining the spiritual meaning of life, but several things I know:
- The more I know, there more there is for me to know.
- The magic and mysteries are more than I comprehend.
- The more I understand, the better my life becomes.
- The less I hide my spiritual and psychic talents, the more I am happy.
Ponder lightning bugs. Contemplate your navel. Gaze at the stars. Unleash your imagination to solve the mysteries of the universe, the biggest mystery being yourself.
